In the sections that follow, I demonstrate how to create a shopping cart in the Angular application and how to store the contents of carts using ASP.NET Core MVC and Entity Framework Core.
The starting point is to define a new class that will represent the cart in the Angular application.
The Angular application is reloaded, which means that the contents of the cart are lost, as shown in Figure 9-5.
This is to ensure that the Angular application can parse the JSON session data correctly and is required when working directly with JSON strings rather than .NET objects.
